The Highground Asking Residents to Line the Streets for Parade on September 22nd

-The Highground is asking residents and businesses of Neillsville to line the streets for their 30th Anniversary Celebration and Yellow Ribbon Campaign on September 22nd.The Highground will be celebration the 30th Anniversary of the Fragments Vietnam Memorial and they will also welcome home the Vietnam Veterans that may not have received that welcome when they first came home. This will also be a great opportunity for everyone to welcome home and thank the Vietnam Veterans for their service. All veterans are also welcome to be a part of the parade and the day of activities, music and ceremonies at The Highground. There will be a vehicle parade with the veterans making its way through the City of Neillsville beginning at Noon. They will meet at the Clark County Fairgrounds and then head west down Division Street. From there, they will turn north on Hewett Street, turn west on 18th Street, head south on Grand Avenue and then head west on Division Street to The Highground.
The Neillsville community and parade route will be adorned with the many yellow ribbons that are being made by generous volunteers throughout Clark County’s communities. The Highground is also asking that residents and businesses along the parade route come and line the streets at Noon and show their support for our veterans.
