Marshfield Man Killed in One-Vehicle Accident on Tuesday

-A Marshfield man was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Portage County Tuesday morning.According to the Portage County Sheriff’s Department, around 7:30am on Tuesday, 73-year-old Dennis Hetchler was traveling east on State Highway 66, between Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids, when his vehicle left the road, entered a ditch and hit the side of a driveway.
When authorities arrived Hetchler was unresponsive, and after life-saving treatment was provided, pronounced dead at the scene. Hetchler was the only occupant of the vehicle.
