Reports at Clark County Board of Supervisors Meeting

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors heard a couple reports at their meeting last week.The board heard a report from the Clark County Economic Development Corporation and Tourism Bureau. Members of the CCEDC went over the items they’ve worked on this year and what they’ll continue to work on next year. Some of those items include recruiting new families and employees, share Clark County’s quality of life, strengthen our economy, the Spring Into the Arts Tour, the Then and Now Project, the Fall Harvest Moon Tour, the Clark County Workforce Council, Youth Apprenticeships, the Clark County Young Professionals, Bloomin’ Greenhouses, Ghost Towns of Clark County, housing development and much more.
The board also heard the 2017 Annual Report from the Clark County Highway Department. The department had 28 employees for 2017. They discussed the routine maintenance done and the construction done last year and the work being done this year. They also discussed their equipment purchases for last year. Finally, the board approved Justin Wolf as the new Corporation Counsel for the Clark County.
