Man Sentenced for Meth Bust in Osseo

-One of three people, including a Neillsville woman, arrested after a meth bust in Osseo was sentenced in Trempeleau County Court.According to the Osseo Police Department, they pulled over a vehicle at Rose Lane and Thomas Street. The officer noticed signs of drugs, so he requested the K-9 Unit. The dog found a meth pipe, meth and drug paraphernalia. Three people were arrested as a result of the stop. They include the driver, Scott Weyland, and his two passengers, Matthew Simone and Jessica Hackett. They are facing possession and obstruction charges. Hackett, from Neillsville, was sentenced in Clark County Court for a rash of vehicle break ins around the city and is now facing a probation violation because of this arrest.
During Simone’s court appearance, he entered a plea to the charges against him. He pleaded guilty to possession with intent/amphetamine. Two other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 3 years’ probation.
