Osseo Woman Arrested for Possession and Child Neglect Appears in Court

-One of two people arrested after the execution of a search warrant at a home in Osseo appeared in Trempealeau County Court on Tuesday.According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department, back in May, around 12:30am, the Osseo Police Department, with assistance from several other agencies, executed a no knock search warrant at 13912 Pine Street in Osseo. During the course of the search warrant, approximately 90 grams of methamphetamine was located in the residence. Shawn Plotnik was taken into custody for a Department of Corrections warrant which had been issued for weapons violations along with charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Additional charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and child neglect were referred to the Trempealeau County District Attorney’s office.
Sandra Plotnik was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Their children were removed from the house and turned over to family members by Trempealeau County Human Services. During her court appearance on Tuesday, she waived her preliminary hearing and entered not guilty pleas to the charges against her. She’ll be back in court next month.
