Man Arrested in Osseo for Threatening Officers Appears in Trempealeau County Court

-A man arrested at an Osseo bar after threatening officers appeared in Trempealeau County Court on Friday.According to the Osseo Police Department, last month, they received reports of a highly intoxicated man at an Osseo bar. The man, identified as Duane Lone, was on probation and wasn’t supposed to be drinking. When officers from the Strum Police Department and Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department arrived, Lone became highly agitated and belligerent. He kicked a Strum Officer in the knee. Lone was taken to an Osseo hospital where he said he would kill the officers present.
Lone in being charged with three counts of battery or threat to law enforcement, resisting an officer/substantial bodily harm and resisting or obstructing an officer. During his court appearance, he waived his preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’ll be back in court next week.
