Scholarship Opportunities from the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days Board

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Wood County students have the opportunity to win scholarship funds sponsored by the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, Inc. Board of Directors.The group is awarding three scholarships in the amounts of $2,000, $1000 and $500. Applications are due August 20 and winners will be announced on shortly after. Students who graduated from a Wood County, or neighboring county, high school are eligible to apply. Candidates must be planning to pursue their education within the University of Wisconsin System or the Wisconsin Technical College System. They must be taking agriculture-related training, either long or short course.
Genetics, Landscape, Architecture, Biochemistry, Bacteriology, Food Industry, Horticulture, Agriculture Journalism, Environmental Science, and other agriculture-related disciplines are required to apply for the scholarship. Students must have volunteered at this year's Farm Technology Days near Marshfield in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
