Granton Village Board Hears Cleark's Report

-The Granton Village Board heard the Clerk’s Report at their meeting last week.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, the TIF Review Board Meeting was held on June 28th at 3pm. The Village is working with Chippewa County Housing Authority to get all of the Village’s CDBG files transferred over so they can continue to distribute interest free loans to qualified low income residents. The board approved the Scott’s Construction bid last fall for chip sealing. The entire road budget is $60,000 and includes graveling Romadka. Several concerns were noted about some of the roads in town. The board decided to hold on Hill Road this year and request Scott’s Construction re-bid to include 4th Street and some of the other roads in town.
The board also heard the Treasurer’s Report. The beginning balance in checking was $92,778.98 and ending balance is $60,209.93. The beginning balance in the money market account was $447,215.48 and ending balance is $447,605.11. The beginning balance in the Library account was $32,316.64 and ending balance is $32,137.86. The board reviewed the expense and deposit report.
