Employment Matters at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the hiring of Scott Goeppinger for a one year special education teaching position, Michael Gaier for summer weight room supervisor, Matt Diestler for the athletic director position, Amy Arndt and Melissa Strangfeld as co-advisors for middle school student council, Reed Lehman for a high school assistant football coaching position, and Jason Kurth for a middle school football coaching position. They also approved the resignation of Jeremy LaMont as summer weight room supervisor.
Also, the board approved Policy GDAC for initial adoption and heard a CESA update. Finally, the board heard the Administrators’ Reports. District Administrator John Gaier reported on a thank you note, an award letter from the Wisconsin DPI, an update from the district’s legal firm, an update from the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, one Focus article and the school safety grant.
