Illinois Man Arrested Near Osseo for Possession Enters Plea in Trempealeau County Court

-One of two people arrested near Osseo for possession entered a plea in Trempealeau County Court on Tuesday.According to the Osseo Police Department, back in April, they performed a traffic stop on I-94. A search of the vehicle found 7 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of marijuana, 152 grams of marijuana candies and an assortment of prescription and narcotic drugs. They also seized drug paraphernalia, a digital narcotics scale and $1,869 in cash.
Paula Paradis and Bradley Barajas, both of Illinois, were arrested. Barajas is facing charges of possession with intent/cocaine, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. During his preliminary hearing on Tuesday, probable cause was found so his court proceedings will continue. During arraignment, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’ll be back in court at the end of the month. Paradis will be back in court next week.
