Marshfield Teen Sentenced for Having Marijuana Delivered to his Home

-A Marshfield teen arrested after having marijuana delivered to his residence from California was sentenced in Wood County Court.Back in November, police executed a search warrant at a home on South Maple Avenue in Marshfield. An investigation in conjunction with the U.S. Postal Inspector’s Office determined the package delivered to the home from California contained one pound of marijuana. Two teenagers, Jared Johnsrud and Mathew Badertscher, were arrested.
Johnsrud was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, possession of THC with intent. Two other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 3 years’ probation with a condition of 30 days jail time. He also was sentenced to 100 hours of community service. Badertscher was sentenced at the end of May. He was sentenced to 3 years’ probation with a condition of 1 year jail time.
