Georgia Man Working at Colby Cheese Days Threatens Officer

(Terry Bell, WRN) -A Georgia man working at Colby Cheese Days threatened to kill a police officer early Thursday morning.Marathon County authorities say it started at a bowling alley when someone told Samuel Lingle to get a job -- when he asked him to buy him a drink. Investigators say the carnie claimed to have a gun and announced he was going to kill anyone who got in his way.
No gun was found on Lingle, but that didn't stop him from threatening the aresting officer and staff and inmates at the jail. Later in the day, a judge set bail at ten-thousand dollars... the first five-thousand in cash.
