2018 Farm Technology Days has Fantastic Turn Out

The 2018 Farm Technology Days in Wood County say fantastic turn out for the three day event.The final attendance was 42,220 people, a level not seen in nearly 10 years. Tent City Coordinator Anna Maenner said, “If we were to compare this show to any other, I would say the crowds were just as big if not bigger than the 2009 show in Dodge County when it was held at Crave Brothers' farms. A great location in the state and very nice weather made for an ideal situation to bring people out.”
Dennis Bangart, Wood County Executive Committee Chair, said, “We attempted to bring the community together and ended up creating a family in the process. Our group could not be happier with the size of the crowds and the quality of the show.”
The Grounds Committee is also reminding all Farm Technology Days exhibitors that they have a full week to remove their items from Tent City and that they should avoid coming to the site the next couple days if at all possible. The fields are in very poor condition because of the recent rain. Farm Technology Days will be hosted by Jefferson County in 2019 and Eau Claire County in 2020.
