Greenwood School Board Discusses Budget Transfers and More

-The Greenwood School Board approved some budget transfers at their meeting on Monday.The board reviewed and approved the 2017-18 budget transfers. An update on the development of the 2018-19 district budget was also provided and the board approved district participation in the Federal School Lunch Program. The board also approved changes to Policy 2460-Programs for Students with Disabilities. The board reviewed and discussed progress on the 2017-18 District Priorities. District Administrator Todd Felhofer will look to develop the 2018-19 priorities to present to the board in August.
The board and administrators discussed the DAPES evaluation system. The board will review and compare DAPES standards with current evaluation standards and discussion will continue at the August meeting. The board was also presented an update on summer projects. Parking lot patching has been completed at both schools and sidewalk was completed at the elementary school. Finally, the board was provided with an update on staffing needs.
