Third Clark County School District Selected to Receive School Safety Grant

-Another Clark County School District has been selected to receive a School Safety Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Justice.Attorney General Brad Schimel announced a list of 40 schools and school districts that have been awarded the next round of grants through the Wisconsin Department of Justice School Safety Grant program, administered by DOJ’s Office of School Safety. Combined, the 40 schools and school districts will receive $2,895,658 which will be spent on building safety improvements, as well as training for faculty and staff. Grant dollars are divided into two categories: the Primary School Safety Grant and Advanced School Safety Grant.
-Owen-Withee was selected in this round of grants. They are the third Clark County School selected and they’ll receive $66,585. Greenwood was just selected on Monday and they’ll be receiving $41,564. Neillsville was selected on June 28th and they’ll receive $44,080.
