Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, Inc. Offering Scholarships

-Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, Inc. is offering three scholarships to high school students who participate in the 2018 Farm Technology Days show near Marshfield. The awards will be in the amounts of $2000, $1000 and $500, respectively.Applicants taking post high school agriculture related training, long or short course within the University of Wisconsin System or Wisconsin Technical College System are encouraged to apply. This can include the study of Genetics, Landscape, Architecture, Biochemistry, Bacteriology, Food Industry, Horticulture, Environment Sciences, Agriculture Journalism, and other agriculture related fields of study. Candidates for the scholarships must be a Wood County or neighboring county resident and attend school in one of those counties. Students must be planning to enter their senior year of high school or first year of college at the time of application in the Fall of 2018.
Selection will be based on Involvement in the show, School Activities, Community activities and Scholastic achievement. Scholarship funds will be awarded after you have completed the first semester of college. Each school should forward all applications to the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, Inc.
