Marshfield Norwood Employee Charged for Having Sex with a Patient

-A Marshfield woman is being charged for having sex with a patient at the Norwood Health Center.According to court records, 23-year-old Courtney Brockman, a nurse’s aide at the Health Center, was caught having sex with a patient on March 25th by a sheriff’s deputy who needed to use the bathroom. The patient initially denied that anything occurred, but, eventually, he showed investigators his phone and they saw numerous communications indicating a sexual relationship with Brockman.
Brockman said she knew the relationship was wrong, but she had been having personal problems and the patient became a sounding board for her and their relationship evolved from there. Brockman is facing one count of second degree sexual assault of a patient. During her court appearance, a judge set a $5,000 signature bond.
