Average Corn Price in Wisconsin and more

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The average price received by farmers for corn in Wisconsin last month was $3.64 per bushel, according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report.That was 12-cents more than April's price and 29-cents over the previous May. Soybeans averaged $9.84 per bushel, up seven-cents from April and 50-above last May. Oat prices were $3.20 per bushel, down four-cents for the month, but 63-cents higher for the year. All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $156.00 per ton in May, up $2.00 from April and $49.00 above May 2017.
Alfalfa averaged $171.00 per ton, up $6.00 from April and $51.00 above the previous May. The other hay price was $109.00 per ton , down $11.00 from last month, but $43.00 above year-ago levels.
