Neillsville School Board Approves Several Items at Monday Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board approved several items at their meeting last week.The board approved the WASB membership for the next school year. The district saw a 1.85% increase to this year’s price, but that was after a few years of no increases. The cost is based on the number of certified staff the district has. The board also approved the AEF membership for the next school year. The cost for that is $500 and it’s based on the number of students enrolled in the district. The cost for the next school year is the same as last year. The board also approved the Temporary Fund 10 Budget. This allows the district to operate and pay the bills until the Annual Meeting. The district saw a 1% increase to $10,706,000.
Finally, the board approved the official depositories for the district. They include all the local banks. Finally, they approved allowing the District Administrator to make investments for the next school year.
