(WDLB) -Tonette Walker was in central Wisconsin on Sunday. Wisconsin’s First Lady made a stop at the Colby F-F-A Alumni June Dairy Breakfast.Tonette: "Well, I just thought it was going to be such a wonderful day and what better way to start it out. Scott was talking about cheese curds and ice cream for breakfast and I decided I want cheese curds and ice cream for breakfast, so it was so nice to be able to get here."
Reporter: "Campaigning for another term for the governor, that has to be part of the reason, but how is that going?"
Tonette: "I think it's going well. That's really Scott's job, but if I can help him out every now and then, I do. There are other people on the ballot. My son is here working for Leah Vukmir, so it's just a really good day for him and I to be together."
Walker later jumped into action in the food line, and served breakfast-goers their cheese curds. The annual event was held this year at Gumz Farms northeast of Colby, operated by Sue and DuWayne Gumz and their son Dustin and his wife Cody.
