-A man arrested for possession appeared in Clark County Court on Monday.Back in March, the Clark County 911 center received a call stating someone had just stole a purse in Fairchild and they were following the vehicle going east on USH 10 headed towards Neillsville. A Sheriff’s Office Sergeant located the vehicle and stopped it west of Neillsville on Highway 10 by River Avenue. A Loyal Police K9 Unit was requested to respond to assist. The Sergeant made contact with the driver, Samantha Waterbury, and her passenger, Dominic Koch. They denied being in Fairchild, said they were coming from Hudson and told the Sergeant that there weren’t any drugs or weapons in the vehicle. The K9 unit arrived and alerted on the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, a total of 38.5 grams of crystal Methamphetamine, 1.8 grams of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia was found.
There were also 8 cell phones, 1 computer and 2 iPads found in the vehicle. The missing purse was not located. Koch is being charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession with intent to deliver Narcotics and Obstruction. During his arraignment on Monday, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’ll be in court at the end of July. Waterbury is scheduled to appear in court next week.
