Wisconsin BBB Says Seniors Should Reconsider Posting Senior Pictures

(WRN) As graduations start to roll in across the state, many people have been posting their old senior photos on social media in solidarity with the graduates.
But the Better Business Bureaus' Bao Vang says you should consider what sort of information that gives out.
"Your high school name, graduation year, the city that you grew up in, and if they sound familiar, the problem is, that same information is commonly used as passwords or the answers to online security questions. Their ultimate goal is to steal your identity, your banking information, and to part you with your hard-earned money. Don't allow them any chance."
Vang says scammers or hackers who surf through social media sites will see #ClassOf2021 posts, and will now have the name of your high school and graduation year, which are common online security questions.
