Granton Village Board Hears Waste Water Operator Report

-The Granton Village Board heard the Waste Water Operator Report at their meeting last week.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, the operator attended an Excavation Class in Plover. The CMAR and monthly reports were completed and a great deal of park maintenance was completed including prepping ball fields for games, cleaning shelters, adding sand around playground equipment, replacing bathroom doors, placing outhouses in the campground, repairing spindles on jungle gym, repairing the “little digger” and painting in the bathrooms. Finally, the Grata Grave stone was installed in the cemetery. The board heard the Village Clerk’s Report. The TIF Review Board Meeting is set for June 28th. Several other items were taken care of as well due to one employee leaving and another being hired including enrolling employees in programs, some village credit cards were cancelled and others were issued, internet and phone was disconnected form a home, a village phone was ordered and employee information was provided.
Finally, the board heard the Treasurer’s Report. The beginning balance in checking was $119,376.67 ending balance is $92,778.98. Beginning balance in the money market account was $443,837.78 and ending balance is$ 447,215.48. The Library balance is $39,359.59. The board reviewed the expense and deposit report. Salary expenses to date are $91,691.51. There is still one more pay period in the 2nd quarter but salary expenses are currently on track. Salaries may project out a bit higher than anticipated at the years end depending on how long the village employs an individual for training.
