Granton Graduate Elected as State FFA Officer

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -A recent graduate of Granton High School has been elected as central Wisconsin's new state FFA officer.Jillian Tyler was chosen as a state vice president at this week's Wisconsin FFA Convention in Madison, where she will representing FFA chapters in Clark, Wood, Taylor, Lincoln and Portage Counties. Tyler has been active in FFA throughout her high school career, where she has earned many awards for her dairy and swine projects. She also competed this week as a finalist for the state FFA Star Farmer award.
Jillian was her school's valedictorian for the Class of 2018. She plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-River Falls this fall, majoring in agricultural education. She is the first Granton FFA member to hold a state FFA officer position since 1996.
