Withee Man Charged wtih Using a Computer to Facilitate a Child Sex Crime Appears in Court

-A Withee man charged with using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime appeared in Marathon County Court on Thursday.

According to court records, back in February, Jonathan Hall of Withee, showed up at a Wausau home believing he going to have sex with a 15-year-old girl. However, he was talking to an undercover officer and the was arrested when he arrived. He was charged with using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and child enticement.

If convicted and sentenced to the maximum amount, Hall could spend 65 years in prison. During Hall’s preliminary hearing on Thursday, probable cause was found so his court proceedings will continue. He entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’ll be back in court next month.
