-A Withee man charged with using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime appeared in Marathon County Court on Thursday.According to court records, back in February, two men, Andrew Eiler of Appleton and Jonathan Hall of Withee, showed up at a Wausau home believing they were going to have sex with a 15-year-old girl. However, the men were talking to an undercover officer and they were arrested when they arrived. They’ve both been charged with using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and Hall was also charged with child enticement.
If convicted and sentenced to the maximum amount, Hall could spend 65 years in prison. During Hall’s preliminary hearing on Thursday, probable cause was found so his court proceedings will continue. He entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’ll be back in court next month.
