Wolf's True Value Holding Grand Opening Event

-Wolf’s True Value Hardware store in Greenwood celebrated the opening of their business with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday.The True Value, operating in the former Mayville’s Market in Greenwood, has been open for a while now, but they are celebrating the new business with an official grand opening, which started yesterday and continues through Saturday. I spoke with Dan and Jessica Wolf when they first opened and Dan explained why he decided to bring a hardware store to Greenwood. Dan said, "It always seemed like I had to run over for Marshfield for my welding business. It seemed like I was running there two or three times a week. So, I thought, 'well, if I'm doing that, everyone else is doing that,' so I thought, ‘I'll buy this building here.’ It started out that I was going to put apartments in the building. But, I wasn't sure and the city mentioned they'd rather see a business in town here, so I decided to go with hardware since I was running around all the time!"
True Value has lawn and garden, paint, hardware, plumbing, electrical and much more. During their grand opening event, they’ll have door prizes, drawings, special sales, a cookout, an ice cream social and more.
