Employment Matters at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the retirement of Sally Martine after 39 years of teaching in the district. The board thanked Sally for her years of service to the district and to the students of Owen-Withee. The board unanimously approved the resignation of Sheila Marg who has accepted a position to teach in suburban Milwaukee. The board thanked Sheila for the year she served in the district. The board approved the hiring of Albert Goerlitz to serve as a ½-time 4K teacher and a ½-time special education teacher. Albert finished his student teaching and graduated from Concordia University this spring.
The board also approved hiring Albert Goerlitz as an assistant football coach. The board approved hiring Jenniffer Kulesa to fill the vacant 4th grade position. Jenniffer has three years of teaching experience at South Middle School in Eau Claire. Finally, the board approved hiring Zach Feind to fill the elementary math position. Zach has one year of teaching experience in the Milwaukee School system.
