Black River Falls Woman Appears in Court for 6th OWI

-A Black River Falls woman arrested for her 6th OWI appeared in Jackson County Court on Wednesday.According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, back in November, a State Patrol Trooper and Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a vehicle in the parking lot of the Ho-Chunk Casino in Black River Falls smashing into other vehicles. When they arrived they made contact with the suspect, Tari Pettibone. She failed a sobriety test and it was determined she was operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs and there was a 3-year-old child in the vehicle.
Pettibone was taken to the Jackson County Jail and she’s been charged with operating with a restricted controlled substance, 6th offense, with a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle and 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety. During her court appearance, she entered a not guilty plea to the charges against her. She’ll be back in court in August.
