Medford Man Enters Plea for Theft and Fraud

-A Medford man entered a plea for stealing from the Black River Country Club just outside of Medford.According to court records, 37-year-old Chad Lingen has been charged with theft of a business setting and fraud after he stole more than $25,000 from the club. He would do so by deleting records of daily sales between April and November of 2014. The missing money was discovered when deposits from the club didn’t match their sales.
During his court appearance on Wednesday, Lingen entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. A future court date hasn’t been set at this time.
