Clark Electric Cooperative Awards Scholarships to Area Seniors

-Clark Electric Cooperative awarded $6,000 to area students in scholarships.Each year, the cooperative offers $500 scholarships to high school students whose homes are served by Clark Electric and who attend schools within their service area. These scholarships are financed through the Federated Youth Foundation Scholarship Program, which is funded from unclaimed capital credits. Federated Youth Foundation is a non-profit charitable foundation serving cooperatives in Wisconsin. Concern for Community is one of the co-op principals; helping our youth further their education is one way they demonstrate that principle.
Those selected for the scholarships include Jade Sales of Abbotsford, Emily Gurtner of Colby, Cassidie Pongratz of Granton, Madeline Pedretti of Greenwood, Rosa Rarick of Loyal, Kaelyn Krultz of Neillsville, Megan Simington of Owen-Withee, Alek Siegel of Spencer, Ella Koenig of Stanley-Boyd, Raleigh Frankewicz of Thorp, Marissa Immerfall of Columbus Catholic High School and Rachel Stiemann, home schooled.
