Marshfield Police Department Handles Unusual Calls this Past Weekend

-The Marshfield Police Department had some unusual calls over the weekend.Around 11:15am on Sunday, a Marshfield man reported his 39-year-old son was consuming intoxicants, which was a violation of the son's bond. Police found the 39-year-old man and learned he had gone into a store and stolen a bottle of whiskey. Police left the 39-year-old man in the care of his parents and requested charges of retail theft and bail jumping be filed against the man by the Marathon County District Attorney's Office. On Sunday, around 6:40pm, an employee at Walgreens reported a 25-year-old Stratford woman was stealing items and might be under the influence of drugs. Police arrested the woman on suspicion of obstructing of officer; methamphetamine possession, heroin possession, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession.
Finally, on Saturday, just after 11am, a 25-year-old Marshfield man reported a disturbance in the 2200 block of South Maple Avenue. The man and a Marshfield woman claimed a 29-year-old Marshfield man drove by their home and began video recording. Police determined both sides embellished their versions of what happened. Police warned both sides for their behavior.
