Wisconsin Department of Tourism Recently Releases Tourism Spending Numbers

-The Wisconsin Department of Tourism recently released its annual tourism spending numbers for 2017.According to the Black River Falls Chamber of Commerce, tourism spending in Jackson County is up by 8.96% from 2016. Direct visitor spending in Jackson County for 2017 was $38.3 million, up from $35.1 million in 2016.
Total business sales increased by 6.90% to $57.9 million, up from $54.2 million in 2016. Because of this, state and local tax revenue is up by 3.83% to $4.5 million, up from $4.4 million in 2016.
