No Threat Found at Black River Falls School District Yesterday

-The Black River Falls School District said nothing was found Thursday morning after a threat prompted an increased police presence yesterday.A note was found in a high school boy’s bathroom Wednesday afternoon that stated there was going to be a shooting on Thursday. This prompted a sweep of the school by police and the K9 unit Thursday morning. Nothing was found at that time. Also, authorities were at the only two entrances open at the district with metal detectors. The district will be reviewing surveillance video to try and find a suspect in regards to the threat made.
Classes went on as normal on Thursday, but attendance was down. That wasn’t surprising as the district gave parents the option of keeping their children home. Law enforcement will have a presence at the district again today.
