Black River Falls School District Take Extra Precautions Today

-The Black River Falls School District is taking extra precautions today after a shooting threat was received Wednesday afternoon.According to the district’s Facebook page, they found a note in a boy’s bathroom in the high school. The note said someone was going to shoot up the school today. The district is being swept by officers and K9 units before school starts. Also, only two entrances of the high school will be open and officers will be waiting with metal detectors. Staff will accompany officers and, if warranted, they will search students.
Only one entrance will be open at the middle school as well, even though no threat was made against the middle school. Officers will be at that entrance with metal detectors as well.
