A Mosinee man appeared in Clark County Court for the death of a missing Loyal woman.
According to court records, the woman, Cassandra Ayon, who was last seen in the early morning hours of October 3rd of last year at a friend's home, stated that 41-year-old Jesus Contreras Perez had stalked her on several occasions. Ayon and Perez have a history together including a child.
Court records stated that Ayon’s vehicle and her body have not been located. There has been no bank activity regarding Ayon’s account and the last time she used social media was the day she disappeared. There are no indications she left the country.
Court records also indicate that back in September, Perez used Google to search “how to make a homemade silencer”, “what a silencer really sounds like”, “building a fuel filter suppressor”, “testing a new silencer", and “homemade suppressor demo for a .30-06.”
Perez is facing charges of 1st degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse, and stalking resulting in bodily harm. During his initial appearance Tuesday afternoon, a $1,000,000 cash bond was set. He’s scheduled to be back in court on June 23rd for a preliminary hearing.
