Large Safety Demonstration at Wisconsin Farm Tech Days

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The National Farm Medicine Center will be showing off its largest-ever safety demonstration during Wisconsin Farm Technology Days this summer in Wood County.During the July 10-12 show near Marshfield, the group will team up with the Pittsville Fire Department, the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, Progressive Agriculture Safety Days, local FFA chapters and others in setting up live demonstrations in tractor rollovers, tractor rollover rescues, grain rescue, child safe play areas and interactive activities for older children. The Marshfield Clinic-bsed NFMC will also provide an array of health services at the show, including free skin cancer screenings.
Farm Technology Days is being hosted by D&B Sternweis Farms and Weber's Farm Store/Heiman Holsteins. The Farm Safety and Rescue Area will be located on the north end of Tent City.
