Thursday, May 24th, 2018 -- 11:07 AM

-Two people are severely injured as a result of a crash on County Highway M by Oak Road in the Township of Reseburg, south of the City of Thorp.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the crash just before 5pm, on Tuesday May 22nd. An initial investigation indicates a car being driven by 18-year-old O’Ryhann Hay was north bound on Highway M when she lost control of her vehicle. The car started to spin and entered the east ditch south of Oak Road. The car then struck a driveway, power pole and then a trailer full of wood that was parked on the grass. The car came to rest facing an east direction on its tires. The driver and passenger of the car, 18-year-old Hunter Kiser, were both wearing their seatbelts and received serious injuries. Hunter was taken by ambulance to the Stanley Hospital and Ryan was flown by the LifeLink helicopter to a Hospital.

The Thorp Area Fire and Ambulance Service responded to the scene with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Thorp Police Department and the LifeLink Helicopter from the Marshfield Hospital. The Investigation is continuing by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
