Marshfield School Board Selects New Superintendent

(WDLB) -Marshfield's new school superintendent is Dr. Ryan Christianson.The Marshfield Board of Education last night voted in favor of Christianson, over Tony Brazouski. Board President Frances Bohan said the vote was unanimous--7-to-nothing in favor of Christianson. Christianson is a former Marshfield science teacher-which was his first job out of college at U-W Madison. He has since moved on to Wisconsin Rapids, where he has served as the Human Resources Director since 2012. Before that, he served as an associate principal and eventually principal at Lincoln High School.
Christianson will start July first, and will replace Dee Wells--who announced her retirement earlier this year. Wells has been in the Marshfield School District for the past four years.
