Woman Charged with Human Trafficking Appears in Eau Claire County Court

Two people charged with human trafficking appeared in Eau Claire County Court on Tuesday.

Mark Scoville of Humbird and Catherine Ottinger are facing a total of 34 charges regarding human trafficking and sexual assault, some dealing with minors. Ottinger was found earlier this month between Fairchild and Stanley and both she and Scoville were arrested.

During Ottinger’s arraignment on Monday, she entered a not guilty plea to the charges against her.  She’s scheduled to be back in court July 16th.
