Greenwood City Council Approves the Purchase of a New Tower Server

-The Greenwood City Council approved several items at their meeting last week.The council approved the purchase of a new Tower Server and Windows 16 Server for City Hall for a cost of $12,025. The city will lease them until January 19th and then pay for it with 2019 budget money. They also approved a pay request for Haas and Sons in the amount of $112,559.76 for the West Begley Street Project. The construction on Begley Street is going well. They changed the location of the sidewalk on East Begley to start on the Northside of Begley then cross over on the eastside of Andrews and continue to the school property.
Finally, they approved licenses to Greenwood Softball Association and Chelsea’s Grill, they adopted Ordinance 10-1-23 (b) (8) speed limits established during construction and adopted an amendment to ordinance 13-1-40 accessory buildings eliminating soft side accessory structures.
