Clark County Fairgrounds' Strategic Plan, Final

-Several Clark County departments recently completed a strategic plan for the Clark County Fairgrounds.The purpose of the plan is to provide a guide for future projects at the Clark County Fairgrounds. I spoke with Rick Dailey, the Forestry and Parks Department Administrator, and Melissa Kono, the CNRED Agent for Clark County. To end our interview, Rick reiterated a big item that came out of the Master Planning Workshop that was held in regards to the fairgrounds.
"One of the big things that came out of the Master Planning Workshop, was three design alternatives that shared the vision of the broad stakeholder group that was brought together. The three different design alternatives included new building construction for two of them, two different designs of buildings. And then the third alternative included additions on to existing buildings. Those three designs were taken into consideration by the Forestry and Parks Committee and the Forestry and Parks Committee then used that for their basis to move forward with a planned project at the fairgrounds."
