Owen-Withee School Board Meeting From Monday

The Owen-Withee School Board discussed co-curricular assignments at their meeting on Monday.The board reviewed the list of co-curricular assignments for the 2018-19 school year. There are a few spots yet to fill, but the board approved offering those assignments to the people on the list. The board also heard a reminder about Owen-Withee’s graduation being held today (Saturday). The board also heard the Administrators’ Reports. Elementary Principal Lance Batchelor notified the board that summer school planning is just about complete. 140 kids have registered so far. He gave a special thank you to Ms. Jodi Rahn and Mrs. Katie Hatlestad for all their work in organizing and running the summer school set up and registration.
He also offered congratulations to Ms Rahn and Mrs. Julie Plautz for running successful Donors Choose projects. Ms. Rahn will receive $1,325 to purchase robots for her classes “Rise of the Ozobots” project and Mrs. Plautz will receive $230 for her classes: Building For Success: Hands-on Building Simple Machines.” The Accelerated Reader outings will take place on May 22nd for grades K-2 and on May 23 for grades 3-6.
