Clark County Fairgrounds' Strategic Plan, Part 7

-Several Clark County departments recently completed a strategic plan for the Clark County Fairgrounds.The purpose of the plan is to provide a guide for future projects at the Clark County Fairgrounds. I spoke with Rick Dailey, the Forestry and Parks Department Administrator, and Melissa Kono, the CNRED Agent for Clark County, and Rick explained that donations received can be taken into consideration for certain projects if specified.
"The funds are going to go into one large pot at this point. But, certainly, if an individual has a particular project that they're interested in seeing, that will be considered when the donations are made. For instance, if an individual would like to see donations go toward a multi-purpose building versus a large barn that's being proposed, that will be taken into consideration through this funding mechanism."
Coming up on Wednesday, Rick will talk about the Fundraising Committee that has been formed for projects at the Clark County Fairgrounds.
