Greenwood School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

-The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting last week.Elementary Principal Joe Green updated the Board on the elementary school annual Color Run, summer school and the playground project. He also stated that State Assessments finished up on Friday May 11th. Dean of Students and Athletic Director Jenny Mayenschein updated the board on spring sports. The weather has greatly impacted the scheduling of games and meets. She also highlighted summer projects scheduled for the West and Old gyms, re-capped Junior Prom and the Marshfield Elks Awards and reviewed some the end of the year activities and events.
The board also heard some updates from Committee Reports. An update on the CESA 10 Board was given. The Employee-Relations committee met and discussions continued on the development of a compensation structure. Building & Grounds met and developed a summer maintenance and replacement projects list. Finally, Transportation and Safety discussed the School Safety Grant and possible projects to address in both schools. The district has contracted with CESA 10 to help write the grant.
