Clark County Fairgrounds' Strategic Plan, Part 4

-Several Clark County departments recently completed a strategic plan for the Clark County Fairgrounds.The purpose of the plan is to provide a guide for future projects at the Clark County Fairgrounds. I spoke with Rick Dailey, the Forestry and Parks Department Administrator, and Melissa Kono, the CNRED Agent for Clark County, and Rick explained some of the results already seen because of the strategic plan including the new electronic sign.
"The sign itself was part of the overall plan to upgrade the public perception of the fairgrounds to make it more of an event center rather than just the fairgrounds. And, again, that was apart of the strategy to help bring in other events. Make it multi-use and more desirable for other events to come into the fairgrounds. So, it's the Clark County Fairgrounds and Event Center.
Coming up on Friday, Rick will talk about some of the things they’d like to accomplish in moving forward with this plan.
