Greenwood School Board Elects Officers

-The Greenwood School Board elected their officers to begin their meeting on Tuesday.Dean Lindner was selected as President, Dawn Jacobson as Vice President, Mark Shain as Treasurer, Sarah Shaw as Clerk and Jerome Krempasky as Trustee. The board also approved the boys basketball team attending camp at UW-Oshkosh and students attending Science Camp at UW-Madison this summer. The board also approved a medical leave for Megan Melcher, approved the resignation of Ryan Joten as the middle school football coach and approved 4 new volunteers.
The board also accepted some gifts and donations for the district’s color run and a teacher’s request through Donors Choose was funded. During the communications portion of the meeting, a community member spoke regarding school safety and security and 3 parents spoke about reconsidering the 2019 Graduation date.
