Short Agenda for Neillsville City Council

-The Neillsville City Council discussed and approved a few items at their meeting on Tuesday.The few items brought up during the regular common council meeting included closing of the streets near city hall for the Motorhead Mafia Car Club’s show on July 14th. They also discussed the hiring of Alexander Marth as a police officer and the appointment of a Heritage Days Committee member. The council also heard the Heritage Days Committee Report from their meeting on April 26th. They approved a band for Sunday afternoon and heard updates on the Miss Neillsville Program, sponsorships, the pub crawl and volunteers.
The council also heard the Public Works Report. The usual amount of work was done in the city including cemetery and parks maintenance, equipment maintenance, trimming/pruning trees, maintain street lighting, filing pot holes, cleaning brush and compost, street sweeping and more.
