National Farm Medicine Center Chosen as Central Wisconsin Agri-Business Committee's Friend of Agriculture Award

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The National Farm Medicine Center has been chosen as the 2018 recipient of the Central Wisconsin Agri-Business Committee's Friend of Agriculture Award.The group, which is a part of the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry, selected the farm safety organization for its efforts in keeping people safe on the farm. "The Farm Medicine Center has been doing outstanding work in agriculture here in the Marshfield area for many years and we are pleased to bestow this honor to them," said MACCI Director Scott Larson.
A formal presentation will take place during the city's annual Mayor's Breakfast on June 1, which is part of the community-wide Dairyfest celebration. The award recognizes an individual, business or organization that has done outstanding work in support of agriculture in the Marshfield area.
