Strong Financial Contributions to the National Farm Medicine Cneter

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Financial contributions to the National Farm Medicine Center were strong over the past fiscal year.The NFMC, which is located within the Marshfield Clinic, raised $260,391 in donations during 2017. Center Director Barbara Lee, Ph.D. says the funds were channeled through the Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation.
Lee says the program relies on philanthropy to fund ongoing agricultural health and safety research, such as integrated pediatric primary care and child farm safety, microbiome studies, skin cancer screenings and more.
