New Restaurant in Downtown Marshfield

(WDLB) -Marshfield is getting a new downtown restaurant.Matt and Jen Olson announced their plans for a new Italian and Cajun style eatery in the former Main Street Photo and American Images building at 2nd-and-Central. MoJo's Pasta House and Cajun Cook Shack will be opening some time before Dairyfest in early June. Jen says the new restaurant "will be like dinner at the Olson's", and Matt says the style of the new eating establishment will be fast casual--a growing trend in restaurants. The building--known as the Deming Building for an attorney who kept his law practice there in the late 1890's--is owned by Chris and Erin Howard, and they embraced the Olsons' vision for the restaurant, and their passion for Marshfield and the downtown.
The building will feature MoJo's, plus eight other tenants, both upstairs and down. Upstairs will feature Countour’s Body Sculpting, Gateways Counseling Services specializing in A-O-D-A, and Thrivent Financial. Country Home Builders is the main contractor on the building. Jen says MoJo’s will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays, with special hours for special events downtown. And the Olson’s say they’re building a business they can some day pass down to their children??"and one is interested already.
